Fic: Second Chance At Happiness (Leyton)

Title: Second Chance at Happiness
Fandom: One Tree Hill
Characters/Pairings: Leyton
Rating: G
Warnings: spoilers for the ending of the s5 finale.
Word Count: 150
Disclaimer: I don't own One Tree Hill or any of it's characters. I'm just borrowing them for awhile.
Summary: Lucas and Peyton get a second chance to be happy.
A/N: Written for the fandom project. I finally saw the finale and I had to write something after the ending. So basically this is how I think it should go. Or at least how I hope it'll go. Feedback is appreciated.

“I have two tickets to Las Vegas. You wanna get married tonight?” Lucas asked.

“Luke this is crazy.” Peyton said.

“Maybe but I’ve wasted enough time this year denying how I feel and you said it yourself this is your dream.” Lucas said.

“Yeah but Vegas.” Peyton replied. “And what about Haley and your mom. Don’t you think they’d like to see us get married?” Peyton asked.

“We can have that big wedding with all our friends and family when we get back. I just don’t want to waste anymore time without you.” Lucas answered. “So will you marry me Peyton?” Lucas asked again.

This was truly insane and Peyton knew it but she wasn’t about to make the same mistake twice and lose out on her second chance at happiness with Lucas. So there was only one answer she could give. “Yes. Yes Lucas I’ll marry you.” Peyton answered.
